The Counseling Center is located in Room 280, Medlin Campus Center, Jamestown Campus.
Counselors are also available on the Greensboro Campus and the High Point Campus. |

Jamestown Campus Counseling Center
8:00 am-7:00 pm, Monday through Thursday
and 8:00 am-5:00 pm Friday.
The counselors on the Greensboro and High Point Campuses are available 8:00 am-5:00 pm weekdays; availability in the evenings varies by campus. Please call for an appointment for evening service on the Greensboro and High Point campuses. |

Information and support for enrollment
Information and support for enrollment includes advising non-degree students and transfer students during intake, as well as interpretation of placement test scores for all students.
Program information and requirements
Program information and requirements includes:
handouts about various programs at the college, course descriptions, course advisement and transfer options.
Career information and exploration
Career information and exploration includes:
counseling, career tests, and a resource library to help students make a decision. The DISCOVER software program is a valuable resource for decision-making in this process.
Academic counseling
Academic counseling includes:
assistance with academic problems by referral and resources, defining institutional policy regarding academic deficiencies, and helping to develop a remediation program to resolve academic difficulties.
Personal counseling (non-clinical)
Personal counseling includes:
private consultations of a non-clinical nature. Referral may be made to a community agency, if required. |

| Counselors can offer assistance and advice, but it is the responsibility of students to set their personal and academic goals, to determine their program of study, and to achieve academically. Ultimately, it is the students responsibility to succeed provided with the resources to get the job done. |
