Bill is the founder and Producing Artistic Director of our theatre. His education includes an AB in Drama and Art Education from Glenville State College, an MA in Drama from West Virginia University, and a PhD in Theatre from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He has taught theatre at Purdue University and at the NC School of the Arts. Since 1988, he has produced over 75 plays at GTCC, where he has at various times served as actor, director, playwright, set designer, lighting designer, and/or technical director. He is a member of the Southeastern Theatre Conference.

Laura J. Simcox
Adjunct Faculty
Laura teaches costuming and she designs costumes for our theatre. Her education includes a BA in Theatre from Culver-Stockton College in Missouri and an MFA in in theatre from the University of Mississippi. She has been on four national tours and she has worked for theatres in the Midwest, Colorado, Florida, and North Carolina. In summer, she designs costumes for the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, an Equity summer musical theatre in upstate New York. |

Michael J. Kamtman
Adjunct Faculty
Michael is a long time member of our theatre, wherein he has been a highly respected member of the adjunct faculty and a director. His education includes a BA in Theatre from Bucknell University, an MA in Theatre from the University of Connecticut, and an MFA in Theatre from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is a member of Actors' Equity Association, the Society of American Fight Directors and Choreographers, the Screen Actors' Guild, the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists, and the Southeastern Theatre Conference. He is a well known actor and director in the Triad area and a longtime member of the acting company of the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival. |
