Titan Live

Every student, faculty member, and staff member at GTCC is assigned a Titan Live ID that is used for multiple services such as email, Moodle, and Titan Cruiser.  The same credentials are used to access multiple resources at the college.

However, before you can start using your Titan Live ID you must register and activate your account.  Registering your account not only activates it but allows you to enroll in the self-service password reset system so that you may reset your own password if forgotten.  Activation is done through the password management portal at https://myaccount.gtcc.edu.  This website allows users to activate their Titan Live ID's as well as change your password if forgotten.
To activate your account follow the procedure below:

1. To enable your Titan Live ID you must go to the website https://myaccount.gtcc.edu

2. Use the Sign in box to register and activate your account. If you are unsure what your username is you may use the What's my Titan Live ID? link listed on the page. Your default password will be your birth date (MMDDYY). Please note that for Titan Live your login name needs to have @gtcc.edu appended at the end (i.e. jsmith@gtcc.edu) but for every other resource you will not need your domain attached to your name

3. Once you have successfully logged in you will be prompted to change your password. The password policy will be displayed and will be similar to the one in the image below.

4.  After you have successfully changed your password you will be
prompted to register for the password self-service program. 
This will allow you to change your password if forgotten as
well as unlock your account.  Select click here.

5. You will need to select three questions and answer them.  You may uncheck the Hide Answers box to see what answers you are typing.  The policy for the answers will be displayed and may change from the image below.  Once you have selected and answered your question click enroll.

6.   After clicking enroll you have successfully activated your Titan Live account.  It may take 5 minutes for the account to become active on Live@edu, but your account will be active immediately for all other services such as moodle and campus cruiser.

WebAdvisor Online Registration Instructions

Login

  1. Go to GTCC's website: www.gtcc.edu
  2. Click on the WebAdvisor link and log in
  3. To get your user ID, click on Web Advisor tab and again on What is my User ID?
  4. Click on Log in and follow the instructions to log in and create your password
  5. After you have logged in, click on the WebAdvsior tab again

Search/Register for Classes

  1. Select Term
  2. Select subject from the pull down list by clicking on the arrow
  3. Enter the course number
  4. Hit Enter or scroll down and click Submit
  5. All sections of the courses will be displayed
  6. Click box under Select Section for any course you want to take
  7. Hit Enter or scroll down and click Submit
  8. Your Preferred Sections will be displayed
  9. Under Action click on the arrow and select Register
  10. Hit Enter or scroll down and click Submit
  11. Your registered courses will be displayed

Dropping and Adding Classes

  1. (After the first day of classes be sure to drop and add in the same transaction to prevent a 25% fee penalty)
  2. Click on Search and Register, follow directions "Search/Register for Classes" 1-5 (above)

The next screen shows the class(es) you are trying to add and the classes you are already registered for, select the box to the left of the class you wish to drop, then hit submit at the bottom of the page.

Drop Classes

  1. Click on Drop Classes
  2. Click on the box in the left hand column for any class you wish to drop
  3. Hit Enter or scroll down and click Submit
  4. You will be shown the classes you dropped

Express Registration

You will need to have your schedule made out and have the course section numbers or 4-digit synonym numbers for the courses you want to take.

  1. Click on Express Registration
  2. Enter the Synonym numbers (or section numbers) for the courses you want
  3. Hit Enter or scroll down and click Submit
  4. Your Preferred Sections will be displayed
  5. Under Action click on the arrow and select Register
  6. Hit Enter or scroll down and click Submit
  7. Your registered courses will be displayed

Payment

  1. Click on Make a Payment
  2. Complete the required information and click Submit
