Academic Calendar

The calenday year is divided into two semesters and one summer session. Each semester is approximately 16 weeks. The Fall semester begins in mid-August and ends in mid-December. Final exams are given before the Christmas holidays. Spring semester begins in early January and ends the beginning of May. Summer session begins in mid-May and ends the last of July. Refer to the college catalog for exact dates for wach term. International students on F-1 student visas are required to register and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester to maintain visa status. Courses are usually three credit hours each.
