Do some shooting to benefit veterans and public safety programs

Join us for the GTCC Sporting Clays Challenge at Shane’s Sporting Clays in Summerfield, N.C. Created in 2014, the GTCC Sporting Clays Challenge helps us provide scholarships, services, and opportunities to benefit veterans and our public safety educational programs. This year’s event will feature a morning shoot with a 14-station course and is open to 25 teams of four. Shooters will enjoy a great event, the chance to network and promote their business, and the opportunity to help raise money for these important GTCC programs.

You may have heard of sporting clays referred to as “golf with a shotgun,” and that’s a fair comparison. Like golf courses, no two sporting clays courses are alike, and terrain and background have a lot to do with how targets are presented.

The GTCC Foundation invites you to participate in this year’s event by fielding a team or providing a sponsorship, or by sponsoring the entry fee so another individual can participate (a great way to show support for police officers, firefighters, EMS professional, or students who are veterans or participating GTCC public safety programs).
