Professionally, GTCC has impacted my life by opening my eyes to a world of new possibilities.  Personally, GTCC challenged me to reach and achieve goals that I did not know I could accomplish.

Career aspirations: I intend on graduating with my associate degree then transferring to a four-year college to pursue my bachelor’s degree. The logistics world has so many great opportunities and awesome possibilities available to me once I get back into the work field. My career goal is in purchasing or transportation. I feel that putting in the extra hard work and getting my bachelor’s degree will give me a better angle or direction jobwise.

If I had an opportunity to thank the donor who helped me pursue my education, I would say...

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I cannot say thank you enough. Without your help I would be still stressing about how I was going to accomplish my goal of a new career opportunity. Being laid off after almost 20 years on a job you assumed you would have until you retire is just a life change I wish on no one.  However, having wonderful people in place that want to help and assist you in any way that they can is just beautiful. I really appreciate everything that the donors do for the students.
