The United Way provides support for programs that directly impact students at GTCC and help fulfill the organization’s mission of breaking the cycle of poverty. Students are referred by GTCC's Titan Link to United Way programs that include:

  • Homeless Shelters (Open Door Ministries, Leslie’s House, Urban Ministry)
  • Family Services of the Piedmont
  • The Salvation Army
  • The Interactive Resource Center
  • Women’s Resource Center
  • Family Success Center (GED classes offered by GTCC with childcare assistance scholarships)
  • And more critically important services

Every gift to the United Way helps: $5 a month, $10 a month—whatever you give can make a difference in helping feed a student, or pay for childcare, or address any number of issues faced by students who strive to concentrate on their studies, earn a marketable degree and lift themselves and their families out of poverty.

Please donate now to the United Way!

GTCC employees who wish to participate in the college's United Way program may sign up through My.GTCC (login required). You may also download and fill out a pledge sheet (login required).
