Nursing: Nursing Assistant I Training Program

The Nursing Assistant program consists of 198 hours of classroom and clinical studies and takes approximately three months to complete. Nurse Assistants work in a variety of health care settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, private homes, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, hospice, and medical doctors' offices. Completion of the program qualifies you to sit for the NC State Nursing Aide examination and if successful leads to placement on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry.
