Guilford Technical Community College’s Advertising and Graphic Design program will host its annual Portfolio Day 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Wednesday, April 26 at Revolution Mill, 1200 Revolution Mill Drive, Greensboro. The event is free and open to the public.

Portfolio Day showcases the work of GTCC Advertising and Graphic Design graduates. The event gives students an opportunity to share their portfolios with the community, as well as network with employers in the advertising and graphic design industry, including marketing firms, advertising agencies and printing companies.

GTCC’s Advertising and Graphic Design program was one of the original 12 programs when the college opened in 1958. Its annual Portfolio Day has been in existence since the 1960s.

Following the event, GTCC will host a retirement reception at Revolution Mill to honor advertising and graphic design instructors Margaret Reid and Scott Burnette, who have served GTCC for 25 years and 30 years, respectively. The reception will be held 5 p.m.–7 p.m. All are welcome to come celebrate their dedication to the college.
