Prepare to Register
After your application is processed, which usually takes 2 to 3 business days depending on application volume, your next step is to activate your GTCC Titan account. Your Titan account is your GTCC email. This is the main way GTCC and your instructors will communicate with you during your time at the college, so it is important to check it often. Watch your personal email for instructions on how to access and activate your GTCC email address.

Good to know: You can contact admissions@gtcc.edu for assistance with this step or call 336-334-4822 option 0.
All new students must complete online orientation after activating their Titan account. Orientation is a short welcome to GTCC and will help you learn about student resources and your next steps.

Before registering, new students must complete First Advising. A Student Success Coach will help you understand your program, plan your first classes, and learn how to register. Returning students should meet with advising if they have been away for more than one year, changed programs, or need help planning classes. Visiting students usually do not need First Advising, but they must have prerequisite approval before registering.
