GTCC Students To Showcase Talents At Student Presentation Day

JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Guilford Technical Community College students will showcase their talents during Student Presentation Day 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday, April 19 on the ground floor of Medlin Campus Center on GTCC’s Jamestown Campus, 601 E. Main Street. The annual event sponsored by the GTCC Foundation gives students an opportunity to present an academic, technical or professional accomplishment related to an area of study.

This year’s presentations will include displays, exhibits and demonstrations from students in the following programs:  art, biological sciences, computer programming, cosmetology, emergency medical sciences, health and wellness, nursing, and welding. In addition, presentations will be given by College Transfer Success, Global Scholars of Distinction, SkillsUSA, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) participants.

Student Presentation Day will conclude with a special performance by the GTCC Music Ensemble, directed by GTCC Music Program Coordinator Dr. Mark Wheeler, at 11:30 a.m. in the cafeteria (ground floor of Medlin Campus Center).

GTCC faculty, staff and students as well as the general public are invited to attend the free event.
