GTCC Theatre to Host First Triad Theatre Festival June 17

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Guilford Technical Community College’s Theatre program will host, and perform in, the NC Triad Theatre League’s first ever Triad Theatre Festival 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Center for Creative and Performing Arts Theatre, H2 building, located on GTCC’s High Point Campus, 901 S. Main Street. This event is free and open to the public.

GTCC Theatre is a member of the Triad Theatre League and will be one of seven theatre companies performing during the festival. Other performing companies will include Open Space Café Theatre, The Drama Center, Community Theatre of Greensboro, Spring Theatre and Shared Radiance. In addition, GTCC Spontaneous and Soylent Greensboro will give improv performances.

The NC Triad Theatre League was started in 2015 as a resource for theatrical organizations and artists, including actors, directors, playwrights, technicians, designers, theatre administrators, arts educators and students.
