15th Annual GTCC Foundation Golf Classic scheduled for Oct. 21 and 22 at Grandover Resort

The 15th Annual GTCC Foundation Golf Classic presented by Honda Aviation Company is set for Tuesday, October 21 and Wednesday, October 22 at the Grandover Resort East Course in Greensboro.

Since 2015, Honda Aviation Company has sponsored the annual event along with employing over 300 GTCC alumni.

Entry in or sponsorship of the charitable tournament supports scholarships and the mission of the GTCC Foundation. Since 2011, tournament proceeds have made it possible to award 517 individual scholarships to GTCC students totaling over $422,000.

The GTCC Showcase Reception on October 21 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Grandover Resort will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres and networking, along with GTCC students and faculty/staff showcasing their creative talents and the college’s programs through live art demonstrations, student and club project displays, and various forms of live entertainment.

Entry fee for the captain’s choice format tournament is $1,500 per four-person team and includes four golf shirts, four premier tee gifts, eight tickets to the GTCC Showcase Reception, breakfast, lunch, tee box sign, and awards reception on tournament day.

Various levels of sponsorship are still available for the 18-hole tournament ranging from $750- $8,000, with a variety of benefits and branding opportunities.

Check-in for the tournament begins at 7:30 a.m. on October 22 with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
