JetZero’s new manufacturing campus in Greensboro is expected to create major workforce opportunities in Guilford County, and Guilford Technical Community College is preparing students to meet that demand. GTCC is developing a new 70,000-square-foot aviation facility that will expand student capacity by 40% and include a larger composites technology lab aligned with JetZero’s aircraft manufacturing needs.

GTCC President Anthony Clarke said the college has been in constant contact with JetZero since the company selected Piedmont Triad International Airport as its location, ensuring GTCC’s programs are preparing students with the competencies needed for future jobs. The new GTCC facility is expected to be completed in spring 2027, helping create a direct pipeline into aviation careers connected to JetZero and the region’s growing aerospace industry.
