GTCC Partnership Helps Guilford County EMTs Advance to Paramedic Training

Guilford Technical Community College is partnering with Guilford County Emergency Services to help train the next generation of paramedics through its comprehensive one-year paramedic program. The initiative allows current county EMTs to enroll at GTCC while continuing to work in the field, combining classroom instruction, online coursework, and clinical training to build advanced life-saving skills. By preparing these first responders for higher levels of emergency care, GTCC is playing a key role in strengthening the region’s emergency medical workforce and expanding the number of qualified paramedics serving Guilford County.
