METALLICA SCHOLARSHIP

Metallica’s All Within My Hands (AWMH) foundation is a nonprofit, philanthropic organization created by the members and management of Metallica and is dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services. AWMH funds the Metallica Scholars Initiative to provide direct support to those pursuing a technical education degree at various community colleges across the country, including GTCC.

Scholarship Details

  • Awards will be need-based and will be given out until funds run out.
  • GTCC will provide additional resources to Metallica Scholars, such as access to Titan Link assistance and support from Career Services.
  • Scholars are required to meet with a Workforce/Continuing Education advisor for enrollment and career assistance.

Scholar Qualifications

  • Applicants will only be considered if they are registered or are willing to register for an approved course.
  • There is no North Carolina residency requirement to become a Metallica Scholar. However, applicants are encouraged to complete the residency application and provide the Residency Confirmation Number (RCN) on the scholarship application form to determine if they are eligible for other scholarship opportunities.
