Wear Red for Women Day

Did you know?

  • Cardiovascular disease kills more women than all forms of cancer combined, and yet only 44% of women recognize that cardiovascular disease is their greatest health threat.
  • Among females 20 years and older, nearly 45% are living with some form of cardiovascular disease and less than 50% of women entering pregnancy in the United States have good heart health.
Join the Student Government Association, Healthcare and Office Administration Club, and Student Association of Medical Assistants as we support heart health awareness for women! Participate in trivia with prizes, grab a temporary tattoo and a red dress pin (while supplies last), enjoy fun facts, healthy snacks, personal stories, and participate in a quick body weight workout to keep healthy! Wear RED in recognition of your support!

While the American Heart Association designates this day February 2; please join us on Wednesday, February 7.

This is a Health, Wealth and Wellness Titan Trail designated event.
