2025 Jo Cline Memorial Lecture
Join us for the 2025 Jo Cline Memorial Lecture featuring Dr. Grant Tremblay, astrophysicist at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian and Vice President of the American Astronomical Society. Dr. Tremblay will take us inside today’s “golden age” of cosmic discovery, from the James Webb Space Telescope and the 25th anniversary of the Chandra X-ray Observatory to exciting new projects like the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope and the Vera Rubin Observatory.
His talk will explore both the triumphs and challenges facing global astronomy and remind us why the pursuit of discovery—and the building of great telescopes—matters for generations to come. Don’t miss this engaging evening of science, wonder, and conversation.
