The 95-acre GTCC Donald W. Cameron Campus opened in the Fall of 2014 and is situated just northwest of Greensboro, near the communities of Colfax and Oak Ridge. The campus houses a 94,000 square foot LEED Gold Certified facility, with an advanced IT infrastructure and state-of-the-art capabilities.
In addition to hosting multiple continuing education and curriculum classes, the campus is home to the Supply Chain Management program, boasting a full-scale training warehouse; and the Business and Industry Training Department that offers customized training to businesses in its fully equipped industrial flex lab spaces. The Cameron Campus is also home to The Conference Center at GTCC, a full service corporate event center, featuring a 250-seat tiered auditorium and several flexible meeting spaces. The campus was named after Dr. Donald W. Cameron, who was president of Guilford Technical Community College from 1991 to 2011. His vision was to build a campus to serve the citizens and students in the northern portion of Guilford County.
