Carpentry

Would you like to learn how to build your own house? Do you want to have your own construction company? The carpentry program is a hands-on training program. Students in the carpentry program build a house from footings to roof with one of our nonprofit partners. You can learn how to operate small equipment to dig footings and run industry-standard building equipment and tools. You will learn how to read prints and understand the terminology associated with construction. Residential codes and Green Building techniques will be applied throughout the course. This will help you pursue your General Contractors license.

Let’s get you started on your quest for construction knowledge.
