Have you ever wondered how computers can learn, solve problems, or even talk to you? Artificial Intelligence (AI) is like giving computers a brain so they can do smart things, like recognizing voices, playing games, or recommending videos you might like. Learning about AI can give you a competitive advantage with an emerging technology.

Artificial Intelligence for is everyone!  This 64-hour, three-tier learning program designed to build AI literacy, practical skills, and strategic thinking for today’s workforce. The program introduces students to conversational AI tools (such as ChatGPT), expands into applied AI tools for productivity and content creation, and culminates in advanced planning and integration strategies that support organizational goals.  Students progress through three levels—Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. 

This course has a blended delivery method.  Students will meet on MS Teams and complete work online in Canvas.  Registered students  will receive an email with login instructions one day before the first day of class.

Online classes  may be asynchronous (meaning there are no set class times, and you work at your own pace) and synchronous (meaning the class is conducted online with set class meeting times that you must log-in and attend).

You will most likely have weekly assignments due along with weekly participation expectations for discussion and collaboration through the entire term.

All online students must complete an attendance verification activity. You must complete this in each online course during the census period.

Online students should follow their syllabus guidelines and course assignment deadlines given by individual instructors. All participation expectations are defined by instructors.

REGISTRATION is REQUIRED before attending class.

Students can register in one of three ways:

  • In Person:
    • Greensboro Campus: 3505 E. Wendover Ave., Continuing Education Center, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday
  • Mail: Download the Con Ed Registration Form from the website, and mail it to GTCC, P.O. Box 309, Jamestown, NC 27282.
