NC Home Inspection Prep

North Carolina Home Inspection Exam Prep is a 40-hour classroom-based course designed to prepare participants for the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Examination. The course reviews key topics such as structural systems, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling equipment, insulation, ventilation, building exteriors, interiors, and professional reporting practices.

Participants will also review North Carolina home inspection standards, applicable laws and regulations, inspection procedures, safety considerations, and professional responsibilities. Through instructor-led lessons, practice questions, and exam-focused exercises, students will strengthen their technical knowledge, identify areas requiring additional study, and develop effective test-taking strategies. This course provides exam preparation and does not guarantee licensure or replace any education or experience required by the State of North Carolina.
