The Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) has grown rapidly to become a major project management qualification in North America and internationally. The PMP® is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers.

 

Current Courses

Fundamentals of Project Management 

This introductory course in Project Management covers essential principles and methodologies, preparing students for careers as project managers in lucrative fields in industries such as contraction, healthcare, IT, and logistics within the national and international workforce.

Throughout this eight-week course, students will learn key project management principles, all of which prepare them for the Project Management Professional (PMP) or the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification. In the culmination of this course, the focus will be on preparation for the PMP and CAPM classes, equipping students with the advanced techniques and exam strategies needed for success.

Project Management Essentials and PMP® Exam Prep

This course will benefit all project managers, team leads, team members, functional managers, and other key project stakeholders in any industry. It is designed to assist in passing the PMI PMP® exam. Project Management Essentials and PMP® Exam Prep is a five-day, instructor-led, training program that provides a solid foundation in the concepts, tools, and techniques of formal project management while preparing you for Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.

The Project Leadership SeriesSM

The Project Leadership SeriesSM is presented in collaboration with Tanden, a premier project management consulting and education firm headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Tanden is a Global Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

The course registration fee is $1,795, which includes your books. All student books and materials will be provided to you in class on the first meeting day.

Recommended Prerequisites:  

  • A basic understanding of math
