Supply Chain, Inventory & Logistics
The Supply Chain, Inventory, and Logistics course will teach students about the supply chain industry and its most important aspect: facilities. Facilities include warehouses, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and reverse logistic centers. The course will prepare students for entry-level work in facilities or the larger supply chain industry. And prepare students to complete the NRF Foundation RISE UP Supply Chain, Inventory,and Logistics (SCIL) certification exam.
This 66-hour course includes:
- The importance of supply chains, the flow of goods, and the operations of supply chain facilities
- Reverse logistics and its goals for cost recovery and sustainability
- Safety measures and techniques
- Problem-solving roles in supply chain facility management
- Supply chain jobs, career paths and the skills needed to succeed
- OSHA-10
- Forklift

Students who successfully complete the class will receive an Award of Completion.
Requirements for successful completion:
- Attendance: Must be in class 90% of class hours.
- Coursework: Achieve 80% on coursework.
